Description

Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal to join its nationally recognized Intellectual Property team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading attorneys on a broad range of trademark matters for high-profile clients in a collaborative, well-supported environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage U.S. and international trademark portfolios for a diverse client base.

+ Prepare and file trademark applications, statements of use, renewals, and maintenance documents.

+ Conduct preliminary trademark searches and assist with clearance projects.

+ Coordinate with foreign counsel on international trademark filings and prosecution.

+ Assist attorneys with TTAB proceedings and enforcement matters.

+ Maintain accurate docketing and deadline management for all trademark actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of trademark paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate setting.

• Strong understanding of U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution procedures.

• Experience with IP docketing systems (e.g., CPI, Anaqua, or similar).

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, big firm environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred.

• Proficient in discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes.

• Strong knowledge of trademark law and intellectual property, including USPTO filings and searches.

• Familiarity with case management software and tools.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable working remotely and within commuting distance to Irvine, California.

• Ability to meet billable hour requirements of 1,500 hours per year.
