    Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Pompano Beach, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, expertise in QuickBooks Online, and a strong background in processing invoices and managing accounts payable tasks. Candidates with experience in the construction industry are encouraged to apply, though it is not a strict requirement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review and analyze account statements to identify missing invoices.

    • Accurately enter invoices into QuickBooks Online for proper record-keeping.

    • Perform coding and processing of invoices with precision and efficiency.

    • Conduct check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.

    • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable records.

    • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

    • Monitor accounts payable workflow to meet deadlines and maintain compliance.

    • Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and clarify payment details.

    • Prepare regular reports on accounts payable activities and status.

    • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling financial data. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably with QuickBooks Online.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.

    • Proficiency in invoice coding and processing.

    • Fast and efficient typing skills to handle large volumes of data.

    • Ability to review financial statements and identify discrepancies.

    • Effective communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.

    • Familiarity with construction industry practices is a plus.

    • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
