    About the Role

     

    We are a growing wealth management firm seeking an experienced Senior Tax Planning Advisor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys working directly with clients, and is passionate about delivering proactive, high-impact tax strategies. You’ll work closely with advisors, estate planners, and other specialists to support high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement advanced tax strategies tailored to the needs of high-net-worth clients, including business owners, executives, and multi-generational families.

    + Collaborate with advisors on planning related to trusts, charitable giving, equity compensation, real estate, and business succession.

    + Analyze tax returns and align findings with broader investment and estate planning strategies.

    + Engage with prospective clients to identify tax opportunities and articulate the firm’s value proposition.

    + Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to internal teams and clients.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert for internal education and client-facing presentations.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + CPA license required; MST or equivalent advanced tax degree preferred.

    + Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax planning (not preparation), ideally within a wealth management, family office, or public accounting setting.

    + Demonstrated ability to advise high-net-worth clients with complex financial profiles.

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts for clients and colleagues.

    + Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving responsibilities and a high degree of autonomy.
