    Hours: Day Shift (6:30 am - 7:00 pm)

     

    Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience

     

    Minimum Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour

    Responsibilities

    Assists patients in the inpatient nursing department in the rehabilitation process including assistance with daily living activities, such as toileting, showering, transporting, and answering call lights. Previous hospital experience preferred.

     

    + Transports patients via wheelchair or stretcher, to appointments, procedures, therapy sessions, and group activities.

    + Assists with meal services on the nursing units as directed.

    + Operates elevators for use by patients (as applicable).

    + Distributes mail, flowers and packages to patients.

    + Transports specimens as needed.

    + Reports changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinician.

    + Assists with ADLs and rehabilitation techniques on the nursing unit to maximize patient recovery.

    + Performs other duties as requested.

    Qualifications

    One or more years hospital experience preferred.
