    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to deliver exceptional technical support to our clients within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, assist with application installations, and guide users through troubleshooting processes. This is a contract-to-permanent position located in Lexington, Kentucky.

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network configurations.

    • Provide step-by-step guidance to clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical solutions.

    • Escalate unresolved problems to specialized teams when necessary, maintaining proper documentation throughout the process.

    • Manage multiple open tickets simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet agreed resolution timelines.

    • Utilize internal and external resources to research and implement accurate solutions.

    • Follow up with clients to confirm successful resolution and ensure their systems are functioning optimally.

    • Maintain detailed records of all technical issues and solutions within the help desk system.

    • Develop and update technical documentation, including manuals and troubleshooting guides.

    • Prepare reports summarizing support activities and outcomes.

    • Participate in occasional after-hours support and travel as needed to meet client requirements.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in a technical support, IT help desk, or desktop support role.

     

    • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments.

    • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and help desk software.

    • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.

    • Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or Linux are highly desirable.

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
