    Contract Accounts Receivable Specialist – Construction Company

     

    Duration: 3-4 Months

     

    Work Arrangement: Fully In-Office

     

    Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional seeking a short-term contract to leverage your skills while contributing to the success of a growing business? A reputable construction company located on the northwest side of Indianapolis is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the financial aspects of its business during a 3-4 month project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accurately manage customer account processes, including invoicing, payment application, and account reconciliations.

    + Monitor and track outstanding accounts receivable balances while ensuring timely collection efforts.

    + Address and resolve any discrepancies or disputes with clients in a professional manner.

    + Generate regular reports on cash flow, aging reports, and accounts receivable status for management review.

    + Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, operations) to ensure seamless and accurate processing of transactions.

    Additional Information:

    This position is fully in-office at the company's headquarters on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Candidates should be local to the Indy metro.

    Requirements

    Skills & Qualifications:

    + Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel).

    + Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

    + Excellent communication skills to maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.

    + Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to handling account challenges.
