Description

Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to assist our client with their ongoing system implementation into Sage ERP. This is a critical project requiring someone with strong attention to detail, financial expertise, and hands-on experience in data migration and system conversion. Responsibilities:

+ Scrub, clean, and review financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with system requirements.

+ Analyze and interpret finance and accounting data, with a strong understanding of general ledger accounts, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial elements.

+ Map and input data correctly into the Sage ERP system while ensuring integrity and compliance.

+ Perform detailed checks and reconciliation tasks to validate successful migration and accuracy of converted financial data.

+ Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and IT teams, to address and troubleshoot data discrepancies or migration issues.

+ Create documentation and provide support or guidance to ensure accurate system usage post-conversion.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proven experience in financial data analysis and data migration, ideally in ERP implementation projects (Sage experience highly preferred).

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field strongly desired; equivalent experience considered.

+ Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and data processing.

+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools; familiarity with Sage or other ERP systems is a strong advantage.

+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills – able to troubleshoot data errors and inconsistencies.

+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with both finance and technical teams.

+ Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details:

+ Duration: Approximately 3–6 months.

+ Schedule: Full-time hours; potential flexibility based on client needs.

+ Location: Onsite
