Transform the everyday with us We are looking for a Trainer/Facilities Assistant to work Split Shift (11:00am- 7:30pm). You will be responsible to conduct hands-on-shop floor process training and also perform Facilities and Maintenance duties as needed. This position will be based at our Southaven Distribution Center. Facilities Assistant Responsibilities: Be the backup lift battery attendant to ensure all lift have batteries change safely and expediently. Change out batteries Repair Battery Cables and adding water Operate a floor sweeper and scrubber daily. Replenish water bottles and cups daily. Also, replace the water dispensers as needed. Remove and replace damaged racks. Unload Pallet trailers and recycle pallets daily Put away supplies from suppliers, i.e., cardboard, labels, etc. Keep Supply racks organized and clean. Minor maintenance task: Assembly furniture Evaluate machines issues, conveyors and report to facilities coordinator timely. Minor plumbing and cleaning Maintain cleanliness front office parking lots as needed. Condict monthly inspections on ladders Inspect Racks and eyewash for serviceability weekly. Trainer Responsibilities: Develop a schedule to assess training needs Consult with other trainers, managers, and leadership Track and compile collected data Communicating training needs and online resources Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials Test and review created materials Maintain a database of all training materials Review employee performance and learning Lead small class sessions of typically 3-5 students per session using theory and hands-on demonstrations and student exercises. Present a positive personal, and professional company image always while interacting with customer personnel. Develop and maintain course curriculum including course descriptions, outlines, lesson plans, exams and keys, and training material. Evaluate employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking. Maintain training records including courses performed, course and instructor evaluations, and training documentation delivered. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Certification on MHE certified to include Stock picker, Man Mower, Reach, Stand-up counterbalance lift, and Tug. Ability to work with common hand tools. Be able to work 11am - 7:30pm Must possess a positive attitude, work well with others inside and outside the department and have good oral communication skills. Must be self-motivated, independent worker who can take limited direction while making good decisions in the workplace A minimum 2 years of SAP usage and knowledge. Highly proficient in written and verbal communications. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
