    The Billing Specialist I is responsible for ensuring accurate and prompt billing, maintaining documentation and follow-through for BrandSafway and our clients. Communication with the site, administration, and client enable the incumbent to coordinate justified and reliable billing. The incumbent supports billing through hour-balancing and statement reconciliation, providing the backup for billing and filing. Familiarity with job contracts, BrandSafway procedures, and client standards allows the incumbent to satisfy this job’s functions and expectations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Remain engaged with the project manager, timekeeper, salesperson, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and prompt billing.

    + Develop an understanding of jobs based on the contract as well as client and BrandSafway requirements.

    + Justify billing by validating all necessary documentation.

    + Balance hours worked to hours billed.

    + Ensure our stewardship of the client through relationships and communication.

    + Assist in monthly closing to ensure discrepancy resolution, finalized billing, and accurate accrual bookings.

    + Remain informed about present as well as changing tax and deduction laws that apply to relevant billing.

    + Prepare for audits through note-taking and proper filing.

    + Bill for high volume transactional customers in a fast-paced environment.

    + Follows all procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

    + Update weekly KPI report with billing data

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma required.

    + Excel skills / knowledge

    + Skills To perform the job successfully, an individual should be able to utilize the following skills:

    BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $22.43 - $25.59 hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
