Job Description
**Theater Promotions and Operations Assistant** (Full-time, 39 weeks)
The **Theater Promotions and Operations Assistant** with the Robsham Theater Arts Center (RTAC) has significant responsibilities in the theater's operations, including management of the online ticketing system portal, web management, communications, budget and finance, house management, and supervision of student staff. This position serves as the back-up to the Box Office Manager; oversees the preparation of marketing materials to promote RTAC and the purchase of tickets through online ticketing system for theater events and student programs, including electronic and printed communications; manages the “front of house" production staff; and oversees day-to-day financial operations, including sales verifications, reconciliations, and PeopleSoft transactions.
Each staff member in the Division of Student Affairs is expected to support division and university-wide initiatives, staff events, and serve on committees as needed.
Hiring Range: $27.47/hour to $34.34/hour. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
+ Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a theater setting
+ Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Theater, or related field
+ Project management experience preferred
+ Student supervisory experience
+ Event and facility management experience
+ Excellent organization skills
+ Microsoft Office Suite
+ Customer service skills
+ Knowledge of VBO Ticketing Systems, When I Work, EMS, PeopleSoft and Kronos a plus
