    This pivotal role provides comprehensive financial leadership across Bristol Myers Squibb's Global Supply Chain and GPS Procurement organizations. As the Senior Finance Director for Global Supply Chain and Procurement, you will partner and provide strategic advice to the SVP, Global Supply Chain and VP GPS Procurement, and operate as a key member of the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team. You will also collaborate with the Commercial, R&D, and Manufacturing teams across Finance. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial acumen, a strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and a proven ability to partner with senior leadership in a complex global environment.

    Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    + Provide financial leadership to the Global Supply Chain organization with a cost base of approx. $150M annual cost base, including oversight and coordination of all financial processes and financial reporting. This includes monthly financial closes, projections and annual budget.

    + Guide negotiations with strategic suppliers related to $5.8B annual spend related to, offering financial analysis to optimize decision-making and contract terms.

    + Lead business case development and other strategic analyses. (e.g. Make vs. Buy, MTOP, etc.)

    + Monitor business performance, identify risks & opportunities, advising on areas of cost control and incremental investment.

    + Enhance visualization and financial reporting to drive better insights into financial drivers and results.

    + Support key decisions and business cases with robust financial evaluation and analysis.

    + Promote best practices and streamline financial processes through standardization and simplification initiatives.

    + Closely collaborate with Finance function in Commercial and R&D groups to ensure alignment on financial forecasts.

    + Oversight and financial coordination of total company inventory approx. $4.5B (including all stages of the manufacturing inventory and finished goods across all markets). Help drive efficiencies that result in inventory optimization/working capital improvements and mitigation of financial obsolescence risk.

    + Build strong partnership and alignment with the Cash Leadership Office (CLO).

    + Support the Company's S&OP process and ensure strong alignment with our long-term financial plan.

    + Model potential future financial scenarios and build analytics that drive impactful financial insights and aide in optimal decision making.

    + Lead, coach and develop small team of Finance professionals.

    + Monitor and maintain compliance with BMS business controls, Sarbanes Oxley, and other applicable policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    + Minimum education of a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA and/or CPA preferred.

    + Minimum of twelve (12) years of finance experience, particularly in supporting operational units and manufacturing finance.

    + Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modeling and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and focus resources on high value areas.

    + Proficiency in managing complexity and uncertainty, driving teams towards decisive action. Ability to build relationships, influencing a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.

    + Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with capacity to convey complex business issues and financial implications clearly and succinctly to senior leaders.

    + Strong finance management and business partnering skills.

    + Knowledge of sales planning and reporting processes.

    + Demonstrated passion for talent development, extending influence beyond immediate team.

    The starting compensation for this job in New Jersey is a range in from $ 222,620.00 - $269,800.00, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
