    Adecco is currently assisting our client in Pomona, CA fill a custodian opening. This is a temp to hire job opportunity with a great Monday- Friday schedule, 8:00 am- 4:30pm.

     

    Pay: $20.00/hr

     

    Job Purpose

     

    The Custodian performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming cleaning restrooms and restocking supplies as needed. Performs routine maintenance. Keep the building grounds clean and neat in a safe manner that meets company standards. Perform other job-related duties as required.

    Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

    + Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls

    + Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones

    + Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed

    + Remove debris and miscellaneous from sidewalks

    + Empty trash and recycling bins

    + Stock and maintain supply rooms

    + Vacuum, sweep and mop floors

    + Clean and maintain restrooms

    + Wash and clean windows and mirrors

    + Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions

    + Dust furniture and fixtures

    + Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment

    **Additional Details** **Working conditions:** The Pomona environment is a multi-building complex and requires working in warehouse and production environments. This includes walking long distances, climbing ladders, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and being exposed to potential hazards like noise, chemicals, and machinery, while also spending time in an office setting sitting and working at a computer.

    **Physical demands:** Include walking, standing, occasionally lifting (up to 40 pounds).
