Service Manager – Truck Leasing & Rental

_Location: Newark, NJ_

_Schedule: Full-time | Monday to Friday_

_Compensation: $28.85 – $33.65/hour + Annual Bonus (5%–10% based on Branch performance)_

Are you an experienced leader in diesel truck maintenance looking to take the next step in your career? Adecco is currently hiring a **Service Manager** to join our team at our **Newark, NJ** location. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced truck leasing and rental operation, focused on maximizing fleet availability and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Direct service operations including preventive maintenance and repair scheduling

+ Supervise and support technicians and shop foremen to meet productivity goals

+ Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally

+ Manage repair order processing and administrative functions in CDK

+ Assist with hiring, training, and performance evaluation of shop personnel

+ Communicate with customers on inspections, estimates, parts, and repair timelines

+ Ensure accurate cost estimates and timely parts procurement

+ Support sales, inventory tracking, and reconciliations

+ Prepare reports and participate in business planning and staff meetings

+ Other duties as assigned by Branch Manager

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in diesel shop maintenance

+ Strong team leadership and communication skills

+ Proficiency in Gmail, Microsoft Word, and Excel

+ CDK experience preferred

+ Associate degree or Vo-Tech certification preferred

+ Clean driving record required

+ Must be DOT-compliant and safety-oriented

+ Able to work a full-time schedule with occasional overtime

Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands frequently

+ Occasionally lift and move up to 25 lbs (12 kg)

**Pay Details:** $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
