This flexible, feel-good role allows you to support caregivers by spending quality time with someone who needs companionship and encouragement.

     

    • What You'll Do:

    + Provide companionship and basic support to individuals in their homes or during simple community outings (like a walk, trip to the store, or a fun activity).

    + Offer a much-needed break for caregivers while building meaningful connections.

    + Help with light personal care tasks (like meal assistance or getting dressed), if needed.

    + Maintain simple documentation and communicate with your supervisor about your visits.

    • A Great Fit If You:

    + Enjoy chatting, playing games, or just keeping someone company.

    + Are independent, reliable, and have a heart for helping others.

    + Can commit to at least 8 hours a week - we'll work with your schedule!

    + Have a valid New York State driver's license and at least 2 weeks of licensed driving experience.

    + Have reliable transportation and are comfortable traveling to homes in Monroe County.

    + Are able to lift up to 35 lbs and assist with basic care if needed.
