    Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is looking for a Manager Supply Chain 1 for multiple programs located **onsite** in the **Palmdale, CA** facility. This is for our **_Second Shift - Monday to Thursday._**

    Responsibilities include:

    + Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements

    + Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed

    + Schedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirements

    + Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders

    + Responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff

    + Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies

    + Candidate must have strong communication skills, and orientated for teamwork and objective results

    + Must have a proactive attitude and ability to work under pressured environment

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree with at least 4 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR a Master’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management

    + Must have 3 years warehousing experience

    + Must have a minimum of 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects

    + Must have Inventory Control or SAP experience

    + At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree

    + Risk Management experience

    + Experience working with high volume, complex and fast paced environment

    + Minimum of 6 years of experience in production control, materials, procurement or quality

    + Experience with complex products within the Aerospace industry

    + SAP Production Control or Inventory Control MRP experience

    + Excellent working knowledge using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

     

    Salary Range: $107,300.00 - $160,900.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
