    Role: Desktop Support Technician

     

    As a **Desktop Support technician** , you will make an impact by giving technical support. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Retail team.

    In this role, you will:

    + You will have regular interactions with various store coaches.

    + As part of our elite Retail support team that provides technical support and expertise in client retail stores This team works in a total contact ownership model that includes receiving direct instructions for L3 SMEs for items within a customer store.

    + A typical day/week looks like you are monitoring intake channels (phone calls/texts/emails/slack/SNOW tickets) to quickly respond to any question or problem our users have with technology.

    + You will work face to face to assess the situation apply your skills with the knowledge of our environment to resolve or escalate to get a resolution and restore service or provide the information.

    + Retail support technicians offer customer service problem-solve computer issues provide hardware and support install software upgrades create and maintain documentation etc.

    What you need to have to be considered

    + requires 2 to 5 years of Experience in Installing troubleshooting repairing hardware which support retail operations

    + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

    + Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    + Have a proactive approach to identifying and implementing technical solutions.

    + Display a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in technical support.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
