Advertising/Posting Title HBCD Data Collection Research Specialist
Posting Summary
Oversee and coordinate data collection for a large NIH funded trial of infant and child neural development, with direction from Principal Investigator. Use technical expertise to develop systems for accurate data collection, complex analysis, training, and evaluation based on lab priorities. Support interdepartmental and cross-site collaboration for assessment domains led by UVM researchers including Neurocognition & Language development. Provide functional supervision for staff involved in data collection.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, early education or closely related discipline and at least five years’ of clinical research experience with pediatric populations required. Effective communication skills and computer proficiency are required.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with pediatric neuroimaging ( MRI and/or EEG ) including data collection and data processing. Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred. Managerial experience in research or Master’s degree in relevant field. Experience with research administration (regulatory communications and budget management) in the context of large, multi-center studies.
Anticipated Pay Range $52,000 - $72,000
Other Information
A 120-day probation period is required.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
