    This position is the Finance Controller/Leader for the Global Quality and Operation organization, and will lead a Team of financial professionals in FP&A, Financial Reporting, Costing, Capital Management and Support functions. The total spend across the GQO network is ~$3B with annual COGS across 45+ sites of ~$7B.

     

    This position is responsible for the GQO’s financial reporting, planning and analysis, adherence to accounting policies, procedures and practices, maintenance of accurate and timely accounting records and the preparation of Company financial statements in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and serves as the primary liaison with the Corporate Accounting/Reporting and Enterprise FP&A Teams. In addition, the Controller will lead GQO’s Cost Savings strategy, Capital Management, and partnership with the organization’s support functions. This individual must have strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, along with a global mindset.

     

    + Responsible for GQO’s monthly financial consolidation and reporting, including variance analysis and commentary presented to the Corporate Finance Team.

    + Oversight of Legal Entity structure and reporting, including statutory financial statement preparation and filing, as well as intercompany accounting complexities with corresponding transaction flows.

    + Support Investor Relations and SEC Reporting Functions in development of key financial statement disclosure support and key metrics and information supporting Quarterly Earnings call preparation.

    + Key member of the GQO Finance Leadership Team that will give financial direction and coordinate strategic finance initiatives when the Group CFO is not available.

    + Perform monthly projections, including mid-month risk and opportunities across the network. This role will also be responsible for developing “go-gets” when appropriate.

    + Review and approve monthly Non-GAAP submission from the various areas of GQO.

    + Responsible for coordination of quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by the Company’s external auditors.

    + Finance partner to various functional leaders, including Regulatory, Quality, Human Resources, Legal and Communications. Help support functions with monthly activities, projections and their budget. Finance partner for all capital investments and strategic headcount adds.

    + Point person/advocate for network-wide CERs submissions and management.

    + Lead annual strategic planning process and partner with Senior Director of GOQ strategy for manufacturing transfers and network optimization initiatives.

    + Lead the annual budget process across the entire GQO network, including target setting, contingency build and headcount allocations.

    + Lead the annual cost reduction and inventory revaluation processes, including communication to the Commercial Businesses and Enterprise teams. Ensure we are approaching standard cost setting consistently across the plant network. Drive policy enhancements and process changes to ensure standardization to streamline cost transformation execution and reporting.

    + ·Responsible for developing leaders through this organization, importing/exporting talent, driving high engagement through the team and ensuring we have excellence across the GQO Finance Team.The leader is responsible and accountable for the actions of promoting an environment that fosters personal growth, teamwork, empowerment, and development for his/her finance team. ·Positively influence and develop the business finance teams through coordination of activities, sharing of best practices and ensuring a strong link between the manufacturing plants and Corporate Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A and other support functions.·Responsible for monthly balance sheet reviews and completion of account reconciliations for the GQO Headquarters entities.·Responsible for continuously finding efficiencies in finance approach in our franchise teams.Goal is to make finance as streamlined and effective as possible by leveraging talent across the sites, establishing centers of excellence, partnering with Global Shared Services and reducing non-value add work.·The position will partner with the GQO Finance Leadership Team to focus on inventory optimization.·Identify and implement best practices for all of Finance in GQO, particularly as these relate to manufacturing, provide partnership to other GQO Finance Leadership Team members as needed, all in an effort to drive efficiency and consistency in accounting and finance across the global team.·Ensure that acquisitions are integrated in a timely manner and deliver on financial commitments.Responsible for GQO’s analysis and capitalization of fixed and variable variances on a monthly basis, including Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and the impact on normal capacity for periodic results.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA, CMA or equivalent

    • 10+ years of relevant experience

    • Demonstrated in depth knowledge and expertise of Manufacturing Finance

    • Demonstrated capability and experience with corporate financial reporting, manufacturing accounting, foreign currency, internal controls and progressive improvement initiatives

    • Demonstrated ability to lead through both strategic and tactical financial issues

    • Strong analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reporting

    • Ability to influence, drive consensus, and coordination across multiple, global locations

    • Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers

    • Demonstrated ability to influence Vice Presidents and other leaders within an organization

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior leadership

    • Demonstrated success in recruiting, engaging, and managing performance of a work group

    • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to use independent judgment

     

    Proven ability to work in a team environment, and demonstrate comfort, creativity, and initiative in the assumption of new projects
