    This position resides within the **Endoscopy Business Unit** , which focuses on cutting-edge electromechanical systems and equipment for minimally invasive surgery. In this fast-paced and highly regulated environment, you'll directly contribute to life-changing medical technology. We are seeking an **Engineer** with a strong foundation in electromechanical system design and testing. Ideal candidates will have experience in the medical devices, automotive, or similarly regulated industries.

    What you will do:

    Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Develop and execute solutions to a range of technical challenges of moderate complexity.

    + Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Advanced Operations, and Quality.

    Design & Development

    + Design and implement electromechanical test systems for current and next-generation products.

    + Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot and iterate on early product concepts.

    + Support equipment and process development for new product introductions (NPIs) and technology transfers.

    Manufacturing Support

    + Lead or contribute to DFM/T, PFMEA, control plans, and PPAP documentation.

    + Conduct root-cause analysis, gauge R&R studies, and statistical analyses (DOE, Cp/Cpk).

    + Perform MSA studies and introduce new manufacturing technologies to improve process capability.

    + Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment and processes.

    Compliance & Documentation

    + Ensure all work complies with Stryker’s Quality System, applicable regulations, and the Stryker Code of Conduct.

    + Prepare and maintain thorough engineering documentation in support of design, development, and manufacturing activities.

    What you need:

    + Bachelors in Engineering

    + 0 + years of experience

    Preferred Skills:

    + Electrical Engineering preferred

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.

    + Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

    + Hands-on experience with schematics, test equipment, and electromechanical systems.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with process mapping and validation tools preferred.

    + Effective communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
