Job Title: Sales Quoter – Manufacturing

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Sales Quoter to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience on the shop floor who is ready to transition into an office-based position. The Sales Quoter will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, identifying required components, and generating accurate and timely quotes for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Review and interpret engineering diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.

+ Identify materials, components, and processes required to manufacture parts.

+ Generate accurate cost estimates and customer quotes based on labor, materials, and overhead.

+ Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

+ Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and timelines.

+ Maintain and update quote records and documentation in the system.

+ Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and internal quoting software to prepare and manage quotes.

Qualifications:

+ Experience on a manufacturing floor (e.g., machinist, assembler, technician) with a strong understanding of production processes.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

+ Prior experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

+ Familiarity with ERP or quoting software.

+ Knowledge of materials and machining processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25/hr.
