    Office Assistant Opportunity with a large Technology Company in Redmond, WA!Job Description

     

    The role of Office Assistant is to provide essential administrative support to a dynamic team within Core Data Center Services. The position is a staff augmentation contractor role, designed to temporarily enhance and support the existing resources of the team.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide general administrative support primarily for a group.

    + Coordinate meetings, events, and department financial operations.

    + Manage personnel operations and facility purchasing and operations.

    + Complete special projects as assigned.

    + Coordinate travel arrangements.

    + Order and manage equipment, including computers, peripherals, and storage inventory.

    + Distribute and ship supplies as needed to the team and new hires.

    + Create and update external staff accounts, including changes of managers and extending end dates.

    + Assist lead Executive Assistant (EA) and business administration as needed.

    + Own team snack orders and restock.

    + Assist with morale events and ad hoc projects.

    + Enforce policies and procedures of the defined teams.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.

    + Effective communication and project management skills.

    + Willingness to assist team members and ability to relate well with diverse individuals.

    + Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

    + Minimum 1-2 years experience with customer service background .

    + Minimum 1-2 years experience with organizational skills.

    + Minimum 1-2 years experience with time management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Working knowledge of email scheduling, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

    + Experience using the current version of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., is preferred.

    + Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.

    Work Environment

    This role requires working 100% onsite, five days a week, at the Redmond campus. The environment is large and fast-paced, providing ample opportunities for growth and development. The position offers the potential to transition to a full-time employee, with opportunities to expand responsibilities beyond team support.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
