Job Title: FP&A Analyst
Job Description
As an FP&A Analyst you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities within the organization. You will be responsible for effectively communicating financial information and advising executives on financial strategies.
Responsibilities
+ Review accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports created by staff to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
+ Review and approve budgets and periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
+ Create recordkeeping and accounting systems.
+ Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
+ Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and recommend or develop solutions to business and financial problems.
+ Advise executives about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
+ Review and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
+ Analyze and verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records using accepted accounting and statistical procedures to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning.

+ Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time.
+ Expert ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
+ Expert ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
+ Expert knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting.
+ Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and any other related accounting software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
+ 5+ years of financial and/or accounting experience.
+ Advanced Excel skills, analytical skills, technologically sound.
+ Alteryx and/or Snowflake user skills are desired.
+ Good communication skills, supportive team member, ability to escalate appropriately when needed.
Work Environment
This role requires working onsite. You will collaborate with the FP&A team’s processes and the Corporate Reporting team, handling monthly reporting related to various financial aspects. The work environment is professional and demands adherence to dress codes appropriate for the business setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
