Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join Goodwill of the Finger Lakes. This role is ideal for someone with foundational Salesforce knowledge who is eager to grow into a full administrator role. Under the guidance of our Senior Developer Analyst, you will assist with Salesforce configuration, user support, data management, and system improvements. This is an onsite position and may require limited local travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Administration & Support (30%)
+ Respond to user inquiries and issues related to Salesforce
+ Perform Salesforce administration tasks
+ Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce
+ Maintain up-to-date documentation of key configuration, reporting elements, and user guidance
2. Configuration, Customization & Data Management (25%)
+ Configure and customize Salesforce to meet business requirements
+ Implement data management strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy
+ Stay current with Salesforce best practices, new features, and functionality
+ Willingness to expand knowledge and support additional applications as needed
3. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration (20%)
+ Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Salesforce projects
4. Project Management (25%)
+ Develop and manage project plans and timelines
+ Manage project resources, including internal team members and external contractors
+ Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope
+ Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Qualification Requirements

Education and/or Experience
•Required Associates, degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field,. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field,
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization, including but not limited to workflows, validation rules, and custom fields
• Knowledge of Salesforce data management best practices and tools
• Experience with Salesforce integration with third-party systems
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the Organization.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is highly desired.
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently, flexing work schedules to meet project plans.
• Ability to work on multiple projects occurring at the same time period.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve business software problems.
Language Skills
Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Communicates effectively with groups of directors, clients, customers, and the general public. Good public speaking skills required.
Reasoning Ability
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables simultaneously.
