The Compensation Data Specialist supports the Compensation team with confidential business processes, tracking of transactions, communications for position updates and reviews for positions throughout the network. The Compensation Data Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for compensation transactions in Workday and will partner with the Compensation team to ensure the workflow transactions are efficiently and effectively completed.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Reviews and processes confidential compensation transactions in Workday in support of the Compensation Team staff. Performs audits of compensation data as requested.
+ Ensures timely processing of all compensation transactions in order to align with payroll schedule and other assigned project timelines
+ Collaborates and coordinates across HR functional areas to ensure transactional processes comply with policies and procedures
+ Partners with Payroll to ensure all forms of pay are processed in accordance with network pay policies and programs
+ Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to compensation transactions and coordinates resolution with appropriate HR functional area as well as outside departments
+ Reviews and audits compensation related data regularly in an effort to enhance data integrity
+ Creates and updates position information in Workday and communicates updates to appropriate stakeholders
+ Functions as Compensation Team first point of contact with the Employee Resource Center (ERC); manages ERC tickets in a timely manner
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 3 hours at a time, frequently uses fingers for typing, data entry, etc. Frequent use of hands; uses upper extremities to rarely lift up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends or reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, peripheral vision and vision monotony.
EDUCATION:
TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience working with data, spreadsheets and analysis required. Experience in use of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
