    We are looking for an TAR/Outage Scheduler to join our Petrochemicals team in Freeport, TX.

    As a member of the CPN Industrials TAR team, the TAR Outage Scheduler will be instrumental in helping to prepare for and execute TARs and plant outages across Freeport, Pasadena, and Geismar sites. As a TAR Outage Scheduler, you will provide the experience and discipline to develop a focused schedule for these events ensuring that both operations and maintenance activities are aligned.

     

    Role requires approximately 25% travel between BASF Freeport, BASF Pasadena, and BASF Geismar sites.

    During your shift as a TAR/Outage Scheduler (Freeport, TX), you will

    + Ensure that both operations and maintenance activities are identified and created in the TAR schedule.

    + Work with TAR planners/coordinators to ensure consistent planning and scheduling premises are utilized when preparing for events.

    + Provide execution support by ensuring that the schedule is updated as required.

    + Provide input and guidance on TAR direction for manpower curves, efficiency, and TAR controls.

    + Complete other tasks as required by the role.

     

    If you...

     

    + Possess at least 10 years of related maintenance or TAR coordination or TAR leadership experience (mechanical or I/E preferred).

    + Have computer experience required (SAP, PrimaVera 6, Microsoft Office, PowerBI, etc.).

    + Have planning experience.

    + Are experienced in craft experience (Boilermaker, Pipefitter, Electrician, Millwright, etc.).

    + High School diploma/GED or equivalent
