We are looking for two TAR and Outage Lead to join our Petrochemicals team in Freeport, TX.

As a member of the CPN Industrials TAR team, the TAR Outage Lead will be instrumental in helping to prepare for and execute TARs and plant outages across Freeport, Pasadena, and Geismar sites. As a TAR Outage Lead, you will provide leadership and guidance for a cross functional team of planners and coordinators that are focused on these events. Your background and experience in leading teams to prepare and execute TAR and/or Outages will contribute to BASF operational and financial success.

Role requires approximately 25% travel between BASF Freeport, BASF Pasadena, and BASF Geismar sites.

As a TAR and Outage Lead, you create chemistry by...

+ Focusing on a continuous improvement mindset by reviewing previous outages and applying lessons learned.

+ Coordinating efforts required for the front-end loading and execution of these events through leading and developing support resource groups (planners, schedulers, etc.).

+ Maintaining focus and guidance on ensuring TAR scope is controlled and aligned across all groups.

+ Monitoring and reporting TAR metrics (KPI’s) across all phases of TAR development.

+ Ensuring TAR processes are followed and milestones are met for each assigned event.

+ Completing other tasks as required by role (i.e. support maintenance as needed, etc.).

If you...

+ Have at least 10 years of related maintenance or TAR and/or Outage coordination or TAR / and/or Outage leadership experience (mechanical or I/E preferred).

+ Possess proven leadership experience for major events, including integration and communication with Operations, outside functions, etc.

+ Have craft experience preferred (Boilermaker, Pipefitter, Electrician, Millwright, etc.).

+ Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.

+ Possess computer experience (SAP, Microsoft Office, Primavera 6, etc.).
