    Job Title: Customer Outreach Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Customer Outreach Specialist to join our team in the Ft Lauderdale/Broward area. This role involves supporting the Storm Secure Underground Program by connecting with service customers, explaining the program details, and obtaining essential documents and signatures for utility easements to finalize projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize own vehicle for driving role and ensure reliable transportation.

    + Contact property owners to discuss project details and proposed equipment placement.

    + Explain the Storm Secure Underground Program to service customers.

    + Secure customer agreement and obtain necessary signatures for easements and acknowledgement forms.

    + Maintain ongoing communication with property owners and occupants throughout the project stages, adhering to company policies and procedures.

    + Organize and electronically submit documents to the support team.

    + Deliver excellent customer service and communication, including purposeful follow-up and documentation.

    + Communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and via email with customers, staff, and vendors.

    + Read and understand construction and engineering plans.

    + Coordinate special projects as assigned.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + Sales experience in Fort Lauderdale/Broward County area.

    + Experience in door-to-door customer field sales.

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + Experience in outbound calls and customer support.

    + Ability to read and understand construction and engineering plans.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Entry-level position.

    + Must reside in the Fort Lauderdale/Broward area.

    + Must have a valid driver's license.

    + Ability to pass drug test, BG, and motor vehicle record check.

    + Ability to engage in small talk and communicate effectively with strangers.

    + Ability to drive locally and long distances regularly.

    + Capability to lift 25 pounds.

    + Prior utility experience is advantageous.

    Work Environment

    This position primarily involves fieldwork in the Miami area. Employees are required to use their own vehicles, with mileage reimbursement provided. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 11 am to 7 pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed. Jeans and steel-toe boots are required attire in the field, and personal protective equipment such as shirts and vests will be provided. A company phone will be issued, though personal phones may be used temporarily.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
