We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer who will be responsible for obtaining patient history, conducting visual acuity tests, and maintaining efficient patient flow in collaboration with clinical staff. You will perform OCTs/OCTA, IVFA, and ICGs, and maintain detailed records. The role involves capturing fundus, anterior segment, and external photos.
Responsibilities
+ Obtain and document patient history and visual acuity tests.
+ Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
+ Perform and document OCTs/OCTA, IVFA, and ICGs.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed records.
+ Capture high-quality fundus, anterior segment, and external photographs.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in photography, particularly fundus photography.
+ Experience with OCTs and ophthalmology procedures.
+ Strong computer skills.
+ Bilingual abilities are preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 6 months or more of experience in a similar role.
+ CPR Certification or willingness to obtain.
+ COA, OCT-C, CRA certifications are preferred.
Work Environment
The work schedule is between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, depending on clinic needs, with the home clinic located in Bellaire. This is a fast-paced environment, handling 80-100 patients daily. The role involves working within a team of 8-24 clinic staff. Employees will rotate among three clinics, with possible rare travel to other locations for training, with mileage reimbursement. Navy blue scrubs are required, with short, groomed nails and hair tied back.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
