    Job Title: Federal construction Project Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee several federal projects in the DMV area. The role involves managing 2-3 projects totaling approximately $15M, focusing on the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects.

    + Review scope of work, engage subcontractors, and coordinate site visits for bidding purposes.

    + Estimate and bid task order contracts and IDIQs.

    + Schedule projects, including subcontractor management.

    + Provide project management to federal government construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

    + Assist with estimating by reviewing the scope of work and aligning subcontractors.

    + Engage with clients and maintain strong client relationships.

    Essential Skills

    + Project management expertise in construction.

    + Experience in construction management, design, engineering, and estimation.

    + Proficiency in project management for federal government construction projects.

    + 10+ years of federal construction experience, including NAVFAC and GSA.

    + Experience running IDIQ and Sole Source contracts for government agencies.

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Help with scheduling.

    + Computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, etc.).

    + Ability to manage projects between joint venture companies.

    + Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred but not required.

    + Construction field experience.

    Work Environment

    The Project Manager will work from the Waldorf office with the internal team, with light travel to job sites within the DMV area. The team is part of a fast-growing GC with partnerships with well-established companies, offering a wealth of opportunities. The work environment fosters a small, tight-knit crew aiming to establish a strong reputation in the federal arena. The Project Manager must be a US citizen .

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $67.30/hr.
