    We are seeking a Civil Designer to contribute to site development projects in Baltimore and Harford counties. The role involves utilizing AutoCAD for design purposes and managing permitting processes. Candidates should be skilled in interpreting and creating site plans, preliminary design, grading, erosion/sediment control plans, and water and sewer design.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on site development projects using AutoCAD.

    + Handle permitting processes effectively.

    + Interpret and create detailed site plans.

    + Develop preliminary designs for projects.

    + Design grading and erosion/sediment control plans.

    + Execute water and sewer design tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience in civil design.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD.

    + Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma required.

    + An E.I.T. or P.E. certification is advantageous but not necessary.

    + Familiarity with Civil 3D, T5-55, TR-20, HEC-RAS, and HydroCAD is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This position is 100% on-site at the office, working Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week. The work environment offers opportunities to learn from experienced professional engineers and is part of a small, tight-knit firm.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
