    Job Title: Project Executive

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Executive to lead and oversee large-scale K-12 education construction projects. This executive-level role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a background as a Construction Director, Vice President, or equivalent, who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for multiple K-12 school construction projects.

    + Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring alignment with educational goals, budgets, and timelines.

    + Lead multimillion-dollar project teams including project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors through all phases of construction.

    + Oversee preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

    + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    + Foster long-term client relationships and pursue new business opportunities in the education sector.

    + Mentor and develop internal project leadership talent.

    Essential Skills

    + 20+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in an executive or leadership role.

    + Proven track record managing complex $50+ million projects from preconstruction through closeout, particularly in K-12 education projects.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    + Deep knowledge of construction delivery methods including CM-at-Risk and Design-Bid-Build.

    + Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.

    + Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience or interest in sustainable school design.

    + Familiarity with Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. public school systems and procurement processes.

    + Passion for educational environments and community impact.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position requires 100% in-office presence with travel to project sites.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $230000.00/yr.
