    Job Title: Civil Engineer – Wastewater

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 1+ years of experience in wastewater engineering to support projects within our Wastewater Engineering Department. In this role, you’ll assist with the design and construction of sewage treatment plants across Long Island, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of civil and environmental infrastructure projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist in preparing engineering reports, design plans, and technical specifications.

    + Support the development of bid documents and contract packages.

    + Review shop drawings and participate in field inspections.

    + Help prepare as-built drawings and O&M manuals.

    + Collaborate on all phases of wastewater treatment plant design and construction.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + 1+ years of experience in wastewater or civil engineering.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

    + Strong communication, organization, and project coordination skills.

    + Familiarity with wastewater treatment systems and design principles.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + EIT or PE license (or working toward one).

    + Previous experience working with municipalities or public infrastructure projects.

    Work Environment & Benefits:

    + Standard hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

    + Occasional travel to job sites across Long Island.

    + Time-and-a-half pay for any hours worked over 40 billable hours per week.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
