    Job Title: HR Associate

     

    Work Model: 4-month contract (with possible extensions in three-month increments)

     

    Schedule: Monday through Friday (830-5PM or 930AM to 6PM)

    Hybrid Policy: August – 3 days onsite/2 remote; September onward – 4 days onsite/1 remote

    Pay: $27.50/hour

    HR ASSOCIATE

    SUMMARY:

    We are seeking two HR Associates to support a busy HR Shared Services team. This role serves as the liaison to employees and managers in a call center environment and/or corporate business setting, providing HR generalist support and handling inquiries related to policies, procedures, and HR systems. The ideal candidate is energetic, resourceful, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Handle a high volume of inbound calls, creating cases in the HR system and ensuring timely resolution.

    + Research and resolve diverse HR issues with accuracy and professionalism.

    + Support employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, job changes, leave management, and offboarding.

    + Ensure compliance with policies and government regulations, including I9 and eVerify requirements.

    + Enter and maintain employee data in HRIS systems.

    + Assist with Open Enrollment and Leave of Absence processes.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, Payroll, and Legal.

    + Escalate complex cases or customer dissatisfaction as appropriate.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.

    + 1+ year of HR experience, preferably covering onboarding, HRIS, benefits, or leave administration.

    + Experience working in a shared services environment.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    + Customer service orientation with strong phone etiquette and confidentiality practices.

    + Preferred Skills

    + Spanish Speaking plus

    + Experience with HR technologies (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP).

    + Familiarity with case management systems such as ServiceNow, Salesforce HR, Oracle, or Neocase.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
