RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will report to the Hormel Foods International Foodservice Senior Brand Manager, based in Austin, MN headquarters. As an Associate Product Manager, this person will contribute to business execution by preparing training materials, product specs sheets, and sales tools. This role will support product innovation based on input from operators, distributors, the sales force, and patrons, in close collaboration with brand managers, to ensure Foodservice strategies and initiatives achieve desired outcomes and AOP objectives.
+ Supports gathering market and industry trends, preferences and behaviors, and how distributors, segments, operators & patrons will buy and engage with our brands.
+ Runs internal and external reports to provide information on what is working or not during commercialization activities.
+ Support maintenance and update of new products information in the Compass system.
+ Assist in maintaining and updating DAM & PIM for unique Hormel Foods International products and shares information with key stakeholders.
+ Support senior brand manager to reach divisional financial objectives and goals.
+ Support the effectiveness of digital activities and help ensure KPIs are met.
+ Assist in creation of commercial materials for offline and online campaigns.
+ Provide assistance creating launch and training materials for new products.
+ Contribute for consistent communication with Hormel Foods corporate teams, domestic marketing team and local markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
+ 2+ years Hormel foodservice sales and/or marketing experience.
+ Schedule flexibility with non-core meeting hours.
+ Candidates must have the ability to travel internationally and as such, the ability to obtain and maintain valid travel documentation, including a **valid U.S. passport** or equivalent international travel credentials, prior to the start of travel.
+ Creativity, persuasiveness and highly determined.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word & Excel + skilled use of HDS systems.
+ Result driven – focuses on outcomes rather than activities.
+ Ability to handle different projects simultaneously, problem solving and manage deadlines.
+ A strong team player & highly adaptable to change.
+ Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

+ Business level fluency in Spanish
**LOCATION:** Austin, Minnesota
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between **$89,300 - $125,000** **per year** , and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
