    **Pay Rate** :

     

    $137,400 - $183,200

     

    _Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range._ _Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s short-term and long-term incentive plans._

    The Job You Will Perform:

    The Containerboard Manufacturing Training & Development Manager is responsible for implementation, continuous evaluation and improvement of the manufacturing operations and maintenance training programs for both hourly and salaried employees. The Containerboard Manufacturing Training & Development Manager ensures consistency of the training program and alignment with enterprise training standards and is the primary contact for key manufacturing stakeholders to drive successful operation of the training and promotion processes.

     

    As the champion for hourly and salaried training, this role provides oversight for the training program infrastructure and provides guidance to all manufacturing stakeholders on the development, delivery and quality of training content. The Containerboard Manufacturing Training & Development Manager works to ensure that the integrity and sustainability of the program by bringing awareness to potential training gaps, the identification effective corrective measures and driving accountability through conversations with leadership on results.

     

    The position can be remote with a willingness for 60-70% travel if necessary.

    The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

    + Minimum five years’ experience in a training role and or managing teams

    + High proficiency in technical and computer skills

    + Experience in Learning Content Management Systems (My-Learning)

    + Experience in developing position curriculums/profiles

    + Familiarity with Pulp and Paper Mill processes and organization

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Paper Science, or Related Business Field is preferred, industry experience will be considered.
