Job Description
Join our team as an Electromechanical Technician, where you will collaborate with a dynamic team to assemble intricate testing equipment. This role involves building complex structures over the course of a week, consisting of various sub-assemblies. You will perform both electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of components, wiring panels, and crimping/stripping tasks. Confidence in your electrical skills and proficiency in using hand tools are essential. Additionally, you must be adept at reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble testing equipment with a team, focusing on various sub-assemblies.
+ Perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of components.
+ Wire panels and execute crimping/stripping tasks.
+ Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills to complete assemblies.
+ Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
Essential Skills
+ Wiring and crimping experience.
+ Ability to read work instructions and schematics.
+ Comfortable using hand tools such as grinders and drills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong electrical skills for assembly.
+ Experience with sub-assemblies.
+ Skills in larger scale assembly (capital equipment).

Work Environment
Work hours are from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with a team of about five people. The dress code includes wearing steel-toed shoes and jeans, providing a comfortable and practical attire for the job.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Somerville, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.25 - $29.00/hr.
