    Job Title: Racker

    Job Description

    We are seeking one racker in our anodizing department located in Newport Beach, CA. The Racker will play a crucial role in supporting the anodize department and other processes by preparing parts for operators. Responsibilities include racking, un-racking, part surface preparation, moving parts, and visual inspection of parts. This position offers overtime opportunities daily and on weekends.

     

    + Entry-Level

     

    + $16.50

     

    + Bilingual in spanish is a plus

    + Schedule - 10am to 6:30pm

    Responsibilities

    + Provide support to the anodize department and related processes.

    + Rack and un-rack parts efficiently.

    + Prepare parts for processing.

    + Inform management of any quality issues.

    + Perform visual in-process inspections.

    + Assist with racking tasks.

    + Follow all safety policies and procedures.

    + Conduct receiving inspections, including counting, visual inspection, and completion of previous operations.

    + Maintain a clean and organized department daily.

    + Process parts in accordance with customer requirements, procedures, work instructions, and job traveler with high-quality standards to achieve part conformity.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inspection, production, general labor, racking, packing, material handling, and part preparation.

    + Ability to perform visual inspections.

    + Basic blueprint reading skills with a willingness to learn.

    + Good communication skills.

    + Ability to read and write in English.

    + Legible handwriting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    + Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, mechanical gages, x-rays, and thickness gages.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Basic mathematics skills.

    Work Environment

     

    The facility consists of six different buildings, each with its own steps in the metal finishing process. Certain departments may be loud or have strong odors due to chemicals used.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.00/hr.
