Job Title: Assembler Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Fabricator (Assembler) to lead a team in a dynamic and hands-on environment. This role requires the fabrication and assembly of components while following technical instructions and interpreting engineering blueprints. You will collaborate with a team of fabricators, occasionally assigning tasks and providing guidance and support as needed. Ensuring that millwork components meet quality standards is essential, as is monitoring and maintaining inventory of materials and supplies needed for the assembly process. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during fabrication, such as material defects or design discrepancies, is a critical part of the role. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, is essential. You will also test finished products for defects.

Responsibilities

+ Lead a team of fabricators.

+ Fabricate components following technical instructions.

+ Interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.

+ Assign tasks and provide guidance and support to team members.

Work Environment

The role operates on the 1st shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a one-hour lunch break. The work environment is very clean, not temperature-controlled but not excessively hot or cold. Employees can wear shorts and a t-shirt.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Powder Springs, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
