Job Title: Translator Associate

Job Description

The Translator Associate is responsible for providing translation services on the production line to facilitate communication between English and Spanish-speaking team members. This role involves direct work on the manufacturing floor alongside production staff.

Responsibilities

+ Translate verbal conversations between English and Spanish-speaking employees on the production line in real-time.

+ Translate written instructions, forms, safety documents, and other materials between English and Spanish.

+ Assist with onboarding and training of Spanish-speaking employees by translating orientation and job training materials.

+ Act as a liaison between employees who do not share a common language to help troubleshoot issues and ensure understanding of tasks, processes, and protocols.

+ Maintain awareness of production schedules, tasks, and any changes on the floor to effectively translate time-sensitive communications.

+ Provide simultaneous interpretation during meetings and discussions involving employees with different primary languages.

+ Maintain confidentiality regarding any private health, personnel, or other sensitive issues that may arise.

+ Perform regular production tasks and roles as needed to assist on the manufacturing line.

Essential Skills

+ Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and verbal.

+ Ability to effectively communicate and translate between different languages in a fast-paced work environment.

+ Effective multitasking and problem-solving skills.

+ Comfortable performing physical tasks involved in pizza production and assembly work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Manufacturing or production line experience preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milaca, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
