Job Description
As a Form Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production operations, specializing in Hot Forming Press Brake and Sheetmetal Forming. Your expertise will ensure the maintenance and improvement of production efficiency, troubleshooting of production problems, and adherence to safety regulations. Collaborating with other department leads, you will document and communicate actions to maintain continuity among work shifts.
Responsibilities
+ Operate hot forming machine, heating titanium sheet metal to 1400 degrees and applying 30,000 tons of pressure to form products.
+ Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment, ensuring production efficiency.
+ Troubleshoot production problems and keep track of inventory, obtaining quotes when needed.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures among employees.
+ Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work shifts.
+ Collaborate with other department leads to ensure schedule adherence.
Essential Skills
+ 4 years of prior manufacturing experience.
+ Experience in sheet metal forming.
+ Proficiency in machine operation, specifically brake press machines.
+ Ability to read and interpret mold drawings.
+ Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

+ Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and technical drawings.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
+ Self-starter mindset with willingness to learn and excel.
+ Willingness to work overtime, holiday schedules, and weekends if required.

Work Environment
You will work in a clean aerospace manufacturing facility with machines operating at temperatures ranging from 1300-1400 degrees Fahrenheit. The forming department currently consists of 2 employees, providing a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sumner, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
