Job Title: Shipping & Receiving/Inventory Control - Aiken, TX

Job Description

This position involves shipping and receiving duties, including changing barn labels in warehouse barns, communicating with truck drivers, and completing data entry in the shipping office. While most tasks are performed indoors, shift work may be required during the season. The role also includes scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, taking dictation, and relieving officials of clerical and minor administrative duties.

Responsibilities

+ Change barn labels as needed in warehouse barns.

+ Communicate effectively with truck drivers.

+ Complete data entry tasks in the shipping office.

+ Schedule appointments and provide information to callers.

+ Take dictation and relieve officials of clerical and minor administrative duties.

+ Plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.

+ Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.

Essential Skills

+ Extensive computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.

+ Strong communication and coordination skills.

+ Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems.

+ Ability to gather and monitor information.

+ 4-6 years of experience in administrative and business support roles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with computer operation and data entry.

+ Knowledge of SAP, shipping and receiving processes, inventory, logistics, and material handling.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Work Environment

The work environment is in a manufacturing plant in their shipping office but some work on the production floor is required. The pace is fast and requires adaptability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lockney, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $15.75/hr.
