    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for performing financial and statistical analyses, conducting research, and participating in specific client and deal teams. Key responsibilities include developing client presentations and structuring and execution activities. Job expectations may include rotating through any of the multiple client management, credit management, and capital raising product areas across Global Corporate and Investment Banking in a sales function.

    Looking to add an Associate level trader to help support and grow the U.S. Structured Finance Trading strategy

     

    Primary function of this trading seat is to grow franchise, to be a solution provider, risk assessor, and product developer in a client and sales facing capacity with a broad understanding of various fixed income asset classes on a low flow, high degree of complexity business. Short End Trading is a global business with regular frequent interactions with teammates across the globe (UK, France, Hong Kong & Singapore).

     

    Heavy internal interactions expected with technology, market risk, counterparty risk, accounting policy, enterprise capital, legal, treasury and other fixed income lines of businesses. External interactions focused on key institutional clients in the bank, hedge fund, private equity, insurance and asset-manager spaces.

    Responsibilities:

    + Conducts financial analyses and prepares support documentation for client presentations

    + Researches products and services in the market to gain insight into marketing and sales trends

    + Supports the trading strategy to build effective client relationships and provide customized products and services to clients

    + Participates in due diligence sessions, while communicating and interacting with deal team members

    + Assists with sales, trading, and hedging activities and documents key findings for the team

    + Development of infrastructure to support new trading products and asset classes for the desk

    + Daily aggregation and reconciliation of global P&L

    + Assisting with internal approvals for new transactions

    + Developing expertise with desk’s trading systems to facilitate a more scalable business

    + Hedging of credit, interest rate, FX, funding and counterparty risks inherent in the business

    + Contributing to strategy development and transaction execution work
