    Job Description:

    This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.

    Responsibilities:

    + Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements

    + Leads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria

    + Leads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage

    + Identifies automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types

    + Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results

    + Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments

    + Uses testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and perform necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments

    Required Qualifications:

    + Responsible for Requirements gathering through sessions with business users, existing documents & procedures.

    + Experience (5+ years) in software testing, including expertise in test automation.

    + Ensures the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved for the team.

    + Establishes a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including defect management and reporting.

    + Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting.

    + Contributes to building quality into the SDLC using best practices and tools.

    + Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.

    + Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders.

    + Take end-end bottom line responsibility for a Project right from proposal to project completion.

    + Manages test execution and assists with resolving, communicating, or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance.

    + Participates in triaging reported issues/defects and assists with resolving or escalating them, as necessary.

    + Manages traceability and complies with ECM standards.

    + Agile tools (JIRA), Automation testing

    + Translate business needs into system requirements for the testing teams by creating functional and Automation use cases driven by test data and process workflows.

    + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.

    + Leading both offshore and onsite testing teams.

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Selenium web driver

    + Conducting training and sharing Knowledge across projects and applications, thereby removing dependency and timely delivery of the initiatives.

    + Experience working in financial services or a similarly regulated industry is a plus.

    + Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of influencing technical and non-technical audiences.
