Description
If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, Linchpin Solutions is the place to be! We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Ground C2 Systems Network Integration Engineer.
Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule:Onsite, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week. Additional support during test events as required.
Role Overview:
The Ground C2 Systems Network Integration Engineer will design, implement, and manage network architectures that integrate multiple ground command and control (C2) systems to contribute to a common operational picture. This role involves operating and administering C2 applications, integrating systems with aviation C2 networks, performing system administration across Windows, Linux, and Android platforms, and troubleshooting complex network and system issues. The position also includes participation in planning and integration meetings, maintaining system security measures, performing classified equipment accountability, and supporting lab operations in accordance with organizational SOPs.

Specific Skillset
+ Design network architectures for integrating multiple ground C2 systems for a common operational picture
+ Operate ground C2 applications including AFATDS, JTCW with EMT, JADOCS, JTT, and THSv2 during test events and daily operations
+ Participate in network architecture and system integration meetings to address connectivity/readiness for tests
+ Integrate ground C2 systems with aviation C2 systems for enhanced operational picture sharing
+ Perform system administration for Windows, Linux, and Android-based C2 applications and environments, ensuring compliance with ATO and program office directives
+ Configure and maintain virtualized server environments as needed
+ Implement host security measures, including account management, port security, data pool management, and privilege limitations
+ Troubleshoot issues related to ground C2 systems, networks, and shared operational picture integration
+ Conduct CMCC inventories and track all classified hardware in accordance with MCTSSA SOP (weekly and quarterly)
+ Perform opening and closing procedures for labs, ensuring adherence to all security protocols
Requirements
Education & Certifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
+ Certifications in system administration, virtualization, or network engineering (e.g., Security+, Network+, Linux+, VMware) preferred
Experience Requirements
+ Minimum 4–6 years of experience in network design, system administration, and integration of ground C2 applications
+ Hands-on experience operating AFATDS, JTCW/EMT, JADOCS, JTT, and THSv2
+ Experience with system security administration and classified hardware accountability in secure lab environments
