If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, Linchpin Solutions is the place to be! We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced Fire Support Cell Operations Specialist.
Clearance:Active DoD Secret Clearance
Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, with additional support during test events.
Role Overview:
The Fire Support Cell Operations Specialist will establish and operate a functioning Fire Support Cell capable of coordinating fires, answering calls for fire, and performing basic targeting and weaponeering using integrated fire support systems and C2 networks. This position includes developing and executing relevant scenarios and test cases to validate fire support systems and network architectures for Naval, Joint, and Coalition events. The role also provides Fire Support expertise for various test and evaluation activities, assists in transitioning validated systems and processes to the Fleet Marine Force, and operates multiple fire support applications from both the Fires Support Coordination Center and Joint Fires Observer perspectives.

+ Skilled in preparing and delivering technical reports and briefings
Specific Skillset
+ Establish and operate a Fire Support Cell for fires coordination, calls for fire, and basic targeting/weaponeering using integrated fire support and C2 systems
+ Create and execute scenarios and vignettes to validate fire support systems and network architectures for Naval, Joint, and Coalition events
+ Develop and execute test cases for AFATDS and Target Handoff System v2 (THSv2) for government acceptance and Joint Interoperability Certification
+ Provide Fire Support subject matter expertise for MCTSSA test events as required
+ Assist in transitioning validated architectures, processes, and system configurations to the Fleet Marine Force
+ Operate AFATDS, JADOCS, and Joint Targeting Toolbox from the Fires Support Coordination Center perspective
+ Operate THSv2 from the Joint Fires Observer (JFO) and Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC) perspectives
Requirements
Education & Certifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
+ Military training and certifications in Fire Support (e.g., JFO, JTAC, Fire Support Coordination) preferred
Experience Requirements
+ Minimum 4–6 years of experience in fire support operations, fires C2 systems, or related roles
+ Hands-on experience with AFATDS, JADOCS, THSv2, and Joint Targeting Toolbox
+ Experience supporting Joint or Coalition test events and system integration
