Craftsman Quality Assurance Technician

+ Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness
+ Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
+ Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections
+ Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
+ Conduct Receiving inspection/verification of product and relating certifications
+ Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance
+ Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections
+ Highly skilled in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
+ Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies
+ Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues
+ Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process
+ Use CMM, Faro Arms and other inspection tools and methods to inspect tooling, first article and production parts
+ Provide Quality/Inspection verification support to Manufacturing and Engineering personnel
+ Verify and control tool calibration cycles and the supporting documentation
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
+ High School diploma required
+ Associate’s Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired
Experience:
+ 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
+ Composite material experience is highly desirable
+ Experience using Number/Bubble Drawings to create Inspection Reports
Security:
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements
+ Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms
+ Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer or measuring tools
+ Have the dexterity to see fine print and use hand and precision measuring tools
+ Adhering to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
+ Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
