Amentum is hiring a Logistics Technician to support Submarine AN-BYG-1 Alteration Installation Team (AIT), TSRA, WSRA, and FTA efforts as directed by MARMC Code 271.

**Specific efforts shall include, but not be limited to** :

+ Onboard technical assistance in support of logistics-related audits, inspections, assessments, and other database reviews.

+ Resolve discrepancies and provide reports.

+ Support fleet logistics assistance requests. Requests are typically received via telephone and require research of logistics support documents and databases in identifying parts and their availability, approximately (4) per month.

+ Assess the availability and validity of onboard systems technical manuals. Update and maintain logistics database files.

+ Update ship’s configuration files by processing work files to the Configuration Data Manager (CDM).

+ Maintain and inventory technical support logistical products (Tech Manuals/METCAL/DPAS, etc.) for Code 271, ensuring Code 270 is properly supported using USN/MARMC ordering processes.

+ Assist with metrics tracking support for FTS, TA&R to support Code 270 Submarine Workload Tracking database system, as required.

+ Provide APACS/DISS and naval message generation support.

+ Provide Non-DTS entry Agent (NDEA).

**Minimum Requirements** :

+ SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of full-time experience in fleet logistic support including experience in the fleet introduction, installation, test, operation, and life cycle support of submarine or naval ship, electrical, or electronics systems and equipment.

+ GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of full-time experience in Navy ILS and system life cycle support areas. The experience shall include each of the following Navy ILS components listed below in support of a submarine or naval ship, electrical, or electronics system.

+ Maintenance planning

+ Manpower, personnel, and training support

+ Supply support

+ Test equipment support

+ Technical logistic data

+ Packaging, handling, storage, and transportation

+ Design and installation

+ Configuration management

+ Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance.
