    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    + Entry Level - with On-the-Job Training Provided!

    + 1 year of experience in finance

    + Mathematical, logical, and analytical skills; financial management abilities

    Responsibilities:

    + Contact and assist residents/family members with the processing of Medicaid recertifications/3559-LDSS conversions.

    + Enters and updates tracking tool for Medicaid recertifications on a weekly basis and as needed.

    + Process and prepare financial forms for the purpose of submission, follow-up, and correct cases as needed

    + Solid communication skills; both written and verbal with clients, co-workers, and management always.

    + Perform routine calculations and reports.

    + Review and adhere to department budgets.

    + Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.

    + Review and audit financial statements and other documents pertaining to Medicaid.

    + Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients for cases that fall under the category of Medicaid recertification.

    + Assist the financial director in creating financial reports on a regular basis or when needed

    + Adhere to the company's or organization's financial policies and procedures

    + Attend finance department and company-wide meetings, sometimes assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives.

     

    Requirements : Must possess the following skill sets to qualify for this position!

     

    + Ability to multi-task

    + Strong decision-making skills

    + Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word, a plus

    + Strong communicator

    + Excellent organizational skills

    + Should have a good personality & be able to work well with others
