ProMedica Bay Park Hospital caters to communities east of the Maumee River. Our campus includes a state-of-the-art community hospital with 91 private beds and a professional office building dedicated to doctors' offices and outpatient rehabilitation, as well as a treatment and diagnostic center. The hospital itself was designed with patient comfort and healing in mind, with wider hallways, single-patient rooms and an abundance of natural light.

Position Summary:

Coordinates the overall activities of patient care areas and hospital departments on the assigned shift. Provides resource assistance and guidance to nursing personal regarding patient care, established policies, procedures, and standards. Collaborates with beds & access and staffing/scheduling for resource allocation ensuring that each assigned area has the resources necessary to maintain a safe patient care environment. The supervisor contacts the administrator on call for direction with critical problems or concerns.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university or currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing program with degree completion within two years.

Skills: Excellent communication including conflict management, problem-solving, and decisionmaking skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Strong knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory compliance, and emergency management.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years clinical experience required and/or similar type of leadership role.

License: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment.

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
