Description and Requirements
+ Overall support of the Global Employee Communications team in the implementation of strategic internal communications plans.
+ Provide operational support to the team; post content to intranet & Lenovo Extend, lay out Global emails, disseminate weekly company newsletter & compile quarterly EVP report.
+ Update and maintain internal communications editorial calendar on Monday.com to drive a cohesive, sustained narrative around priority message throughout the year; make recommendations for information flow and timing.
+ Assist in the management of Viva Engage internal social media channel; post important Company news and updates, manage companywide announcements & assist in the creation of relevant and informative content to drive employee conversation and engagement.
+ Create written and visual content for our employee communications channels such as newsletters, Global email, intranet articles, social channels etc.
+ Assist in managing the @wearelenovo social media channels by finding, creating and scheduling content as well as interviewing key stakeholders to generate stories.
+ Partner with communications teams throughout the organization to mine for content and employee stories, adapt and disseminate to Global audience.
+ Assist in the creation and maintenance of SharePoint site and pages that live on Company intranet as needed.
+ Assist with planning and execution of Global employee events such as Kickoffs, Webcasts and Watch Parties.
+ Other special assignments as needed to give exposure to all aspects of Communications practices.
Skills:
+ Experience and extensive skills working in Microsoft Office applications; SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
+ Exceptional creative writing and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to craft clear, engaging, and persuasive content tailored to employee comms channels; social media,
+ Experience using Generative AI tools to generate and enhance employee communications content; tools such as Monday.com, ChatGpT, Gemini etc.
+ Company intranet, Viva Engage etc. Experience with turning factual information into engaging storytelling a plus.
+ Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment; must have strong multi-tasking skills and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects, on deadline.
+ Experience working with creative software; Adobe Paint, Illustrator, Canva etc.
+ Understanding of social media strategies and content creation with the ability to create compelling content in various formats, including text, image and video. Knowledge of social media trends and best practices.
